Life Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, son of Ibrahim Kabeeruddin, was born in Maiwand, today’s Afghanistan. He was a SunniMuslim and his ancestors had migrated from Baghdad, Iraq and settled in Mashhad, Iran before moving to Maiwand.
